Today we’ll give you a peek into what their lives look like during and after their shifts end.
The Work Day
Our area has tons of working opportunities given the wide variety of local resorts, restaurants, and attractions. Some major employers by industry include:
Hospitality
When it comes to providing the best possible experience for vacationers, there are quite a few large resorts that are always looking for year-round talent. Some are RiverWalk Resort at Loon, InnSeasons Pollard Brook, and Owl’s Nest Resort. But that’s just the beginning! There are others, which can be browsed here.
Healthcare
There are many opportunities for careers in healthcare in our area. If that’s your path in life, check out our local options: Mid-State Health Center, Urgent Care, Littleton Regional Healthcare and LinWood Ambulance Service.

As far as working with delicious edibles, there’s Gordi’s Fish & Steakhouse, One Love Brewery, and Woodstock Inn Brewery. Many other choices are available seasonally, but those three are fabulous for 365 careers.
Entertainment
There are also exciting opportunities in the entertainment industry. One prime option offering all-year positions and summer roles, Jean’s Playhouse, is a dream for those who love theater.
Utilities
The New Hampshire Electric Co-op looks for engineers, mechanics, accountants, and more! Team members can help provide an important resource while performing a vital role.
Entrepreneurship
People who want to maintain their own businesses are also welcome additions to the area. Fuel up for a day of work at our amazing local coffee shops: Mountain Thrift and Coffee or Woodstock Coffee and Pie Company.
The Western White Mountain Chamber of Commerce regularly posts openings for seasonal and non-seasonal work. If you’re thinking you may want to be a part-time or full-time workforce addition, take a look!
