Take in the Local Flavors at a Brewery or Winery
Quench your thirst while learning about the brewing process that produces some of the greatest sales in New Hampshire’s Western White Mountains. Woodstock Inn serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has lodging. In the brewery, they offer tours and sell their line of craft beer. Start your day off right with some breakfast, followed adventures in the mountains!
Seven Birches Winery, located within the grand new wing of RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain is hand-crafting classic European grape varietals and locally sourced fruits into wines of distinction. The fruit may be from around the world, but the wine in the bottles are pure New Hampshire. Seven Birches makes all of their wine in-house and holds regular wine tastings. Come in and try a flight! The winery also has “Meet the Winemaker” events for guests to come see the magic.
Explore the Outdoors
Franconia Notch State Park is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway which extends from the Flume Gorge at the south to Echo Lake at the north. For eight miles, I-93 winds between the high peaks of the Kinsman and Franconia Mountain ranges with plenty of outdoor adventures from hiking, biking, climbing, swimming and skiing.

If you’re after something more accessible but equally rewarding, the Flume Gorge provides a short but stunning journey through natural rock formations, cascading waterfalls, and lush forest. Each hike in this area promises a unique experience, blending the beauty of the wilderness with the thrill of discovery.
Enjoy Entertainment from Theater to Live Music
North Country Center for the Arts at Jean’s Playhouse is the premier entertainment venue in the North Country, specializing in Broadway-style plays, musicals, as well as comedians, cover bands, films, and more in the spring & fall. Open from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of the calendar year, we have something for everyone!

The Upper Pemigewasset Historical Society in Lincoln, NH, is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the region, showcasing artifacts, documents, and stories that chronicle the area’s past. Visitors can explore exhibits on local history, including the logging industry, railroads, and the development of the White Mountains as a tourist destination. Open seasonally in the summer.
Nearby, the New England Ski Museum in Franconia Notch offers a fascinating look into the history of skiing in the region, with exhibits on the evolution of ski equipment, notable ski pioneers, and the development of ski resorts in New England. They have a great gift shop to pick out a gift for the skier on your list.
For antique car enthusiasts, Kancamagus Collectables in Woodstock is a treasure trove.
