Where to work

Our area has tons of working opportunities given the wide variety of local resorts, restaurants, and attractions. No two work days (or nights) look the same. Some industries include:

Hospitality- Food & Beverage- When it comes to providing the best possible experience for vacationers, there are quite a few large resorts that are always looking for year-round talent. You’ll find a variety of positions in the front and back of the house operations, as well as different shifts. But that’s just the beginning; There are others, which can be browsed here! And as far as working with in the culinary field if you’re an early riser or want to start your day later in the afternoon there are options for seasonal or full time positions.

Attractions- The local attractions need not only those who greet you at the ticket office, but trained mechanics. Choose from food service, human resources, medical teams, customer relations providers, ride operators. Most of these positions are seasonal, but there are job opportunities for full-time year-round work.

Healthcare –There are many opportunities for careers in healthcare in our area. The locals enjoy a lot of what you enjoy as a visitor to our area; the endless outdoor recreation options, tasty flavors of the area including craft beverages, relaxation opportunities and timeless family attractions. After the workday is over or sometimes before it begins.. there’s always something to do, besides daily life chores.

The Wide Options for Outdoor Time –We often escape into the woods, onto the mountains, and into the lakes & rivers and trust us, there’s no shortage of places to go. Whether you like Hiking, Mountain Biking (Downhill Mountain Biking), swimming, skiing/snowboarding, ice climbing, snowshoeing, taking scenic photography, you can enjoy a morning, afternoon or full day outside. But we won’t tell you all the secret spots yet, you’ll have to discover them for yourself.

Pampering- Health and wellness options abound in the area. Thank you to the influx of visitor, we as locals have access to some great services from massages or fitness classes to chiropractic or a facial.

Dining Out & Bar Scene- Locals can enjoy one or multiple delicious local meals depending on the work shift and guarantee you’ll see locals’ day after day at some of their favorite spots. Lincoln and Woodstock have grown to offer many different cuisines including: Mexican, home cooked diner dishes, seafood, steaks, pasta specialties, pizza, brew pub staples, flavorful breakfasts, and great coffee.
