Guided Hikes with Burgeon

Join fellow hikers on a Mooney Mountain Guides guided hike on Saturday, June 22nd.

Then, join us for apres-hike at the Burgeon Outdoor studio for fellowship and to kick off the summer hiking season!

Why a guided hike?  If you have always wanted to hike the White Mountains of New Hampshire but could not find a group or wanted to make sure you were as safe and prepared as possible, this is your chance!

Beginner Hike
Ready to dip your toes into White Mountain hiking? Mount Pemigewasset is a great way to start! In less than 2 miles, you’ll reach a summit worthy of the “52 with a view” title. Your guide will be there every step of the way, ready to educate you on the surroundings, answer your questions, and aid in a successful summit. If you’ve never hiked a mountain before, doing so with a group will be a fun experience to share. The route is approximately 3.6 miles roundtrip and 1300′ of elevation gain.

Intermediate Hike
If it’s time to either start your 4,000-footers list or knock another one off of it, Mount Osceola is right in our backyard and waiting to be tackled. After about 3 miles, you’ll be rewarded with a spacious summit and stunning views. On the way up and down, your guide will be ready to educate you on the surroundings, answer your questions, and aid in a successful trek. So what are you waiting for? Reserve your spot before it’s too late! Expect 6 miles roundtrip and +2000′ of elevation gain, unless you combine both peaks for about 8 miles and 2600′ of elevation gain.

Advanced Hike
What’s better than one 4,000-footer? Multiple 4,000 footers! That’s what you’ll get hiking The Franconia Ridge. The traverse is a favorite for many reasons, and a quick Google image search will show why. It’s hard not to smile as you bag accomplishment after accomplishment, enjoying stellar views along the way. Just note that this isn’t the sort of place to find yourself unprepared. So, grab the essentials, and sign up to let a guide help you conquer this challenge. Expect and be prepared to hike approximately 14 miles and 4700-4800′ of elevation gains — while summitting Lafayette, Lincoln, Liberty, and Flume.

*As always, all hikes are weather-dependent. The routes and destinations may change depending on weather conditions and group make-up. Each group will be limited to 8 hikers (not including guides).  You must be 10 years old to join a hike.

**Participants must complete both a hiking and medical waiver to participate.

***Since the $25 fee is for guide gratuity, we ask that you do not apply any discount codes when checking out. In addition, refunds are only available for cancellations made before June 8th.
