Rubber Ducky Regatta
The Western White Mountains Chamber of Commerce will be hosting it’s Annual (& Almost World Famous) Labor Day Rubber Ducky Regatta, VIRTUALLY this year!
Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2020
Due to Covid-19 and limitations on large gathers, we decided that it would be best to host this event virtually this year. The ducks will still get to race down the river this year, but it won’t be open to the public. You can watch over 1,000 duckies race down the Pemi River online this year, Stay tuned for links!
Adopt as many ducks as you’d like and name them for a chance at winning dozens of prizes donated by local restaurants, shops, lodging properties, and attractions. Adopt your ducks online!
Prizes will be awarded to the top fastest ducks, the slowest duck and best named ducks! Voting for best duck name will take place via an online survey which will be posted on social media and send via email. Voting will begin on Monday, September 7th and end at noon on Friday, September 11th. Winners will be announced via email and social media during the afternoon of Friday, September 11th. If the same name is submitted, the person who submitted the name first will be the recipient of the prize if that name is chosen.
This event raises money towards the chamber’s scholarship fund, which is awarded every year to a local high school senior. Thank you for continuing to support this event and the Lin-Wood community.
