Supporting Our Community

Simple Ways to Give Back!

Together, We Make a Difference

In life’s ever-changing dynamic, one thing remains constant — the power of community. As we move through the fall and winter seasons, it’s important to remember those who may be facing greater needs. Small acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference, and there are many opportunities right here in the Western White Mountains to lend a helping hand. No matter how big or small, every effort counts. From donating food or coats to simply checking in on a neighbor, your kindness helps our community thrive. Now more than ever, compassion and connection are what keep the Western White Mountains strong. Scroll down to see how you can get involved and give back this season.

The Bridge Project Coat Drive

The Bridge Project NH is collecting gently used and new winter coats, hats, gloves, and boots for children and adults in our community. Donating warm gear not only helps protect against the cold but also offers comfort and care during the long New Hampshire winter. Drop-off locations are available at several community spots throughout the area. Donate now through December 15th.

Drop-off Locations:
White Mountain Pickleball Club
Daydreams Hair & Nail Studio
RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain
Town of Woodstock
Town of Lincoln
Union Bank

For anyone in need of coat, please contact Tracy to set up an appointment. Tracy@TheBridgeProjectNH.org

Woodstock Police Department Food Drive

The Woodstock Police Department is collecting non-perishable food items to help local families enjoy nourishing meals throughout the season. Donations can be dropped off at the station during regular hours. Every can, box, or bag of groceries adds up to make a difference for a neighbor in need.

From now through the end of November, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food donations right here at the Woodstock Police Department.

Most needed items include:

* Canned vegetables, fruits, soups, and beans
* Pasta, rice, and boxed meals
* Peanut butter and jelly
* Cereal and oatmeal
* Canned tuna and chicken
* Baking items (flour, sugar, mixes)
* Baby food and formula
* Toiletries and paper products

Location: Woodstock Police Department, 165 Lost River Road Woodstock, NH 03262

Lincoln Fire Department Toy Drive

The Lincoln Fire Department is looking to spreading holiday cheer through its annual toy drive. New, unwrapped toys for children of all ages are gratefully accepted at the station. Your contribution helps ensure that every child experiences a bit of joy and excitement this season. Please check the door of the station for drop off times, or toys can be dropped off at the Lincoln Town Hall during business hours.

Support the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club

The Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club works year-round to support local families, students, and projects that strengthen our towns. By volunteering, attending a fundraiser, or contributing to their efforts, you help extend their mission of “Service Above Self.” Community service is most powerful when it’s shared. Learn more about the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club.

Lin-Wood Senior Center Volunteering & Support

The Lin-Wood Senior Center provides meals, activities, and vital resources for older adults in our community. Volunteering your time — whether serving lunch, assisting with programs, or simply spending time with local seniors — helps foster connection and brighten someone’s day. The center also welcomes donations that support its ongoing efforts to keep our seniors active, engaged, and cared for throughout the year.

A Grateful Community

Our community is truly special — built on kindness, connection, and the willingness to lend a hand. Thank you to everyone who continues to give, volunteer, and support one another. It’s because of you that the Western White Mountains remain such a caring and vibrant place to call home.
