Theatre UP invites audiences to the youth production of The Lightning Thief. It will be performed by
our Teen Company and it will be presented at the Littleton Opera House, performing April 2, 3, & 4.
As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can’t control, a
destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’
master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the
bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy
will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle
of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who
abandoned him. Adapted from the best-selling book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and
featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief is an action-packed mythical adventure
“worthy of the gods” (Time Out New York).
The Lightning Thief is directed & choreographed for Theatre UP by Madalyn Sheehy.
Performances April 2 @ 7:00 PM, April 3 @ 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and April 4 @ 2:00 PM. The
Lightning Thief is a full musical with one intermission. Performances will be held at the
Littleton Opera House at 2 Union Street.

TICKETS: RESERVED $20 for all
Group Rate: Groups of 8 or more receive a $3 discount per ticket. Tickets must be purchased all at
once and for the same performance.

Tickets will go on sale on August, 15, 2026.
