What is the Destination Marketing Program?

Our Destination Marketing Program is dedicated to enhancing the overall visitor experience in our region. Through community improvements, Chamber-sponsored events, and the promotion of our members’ events, we strive to ensure that every visit to our area is memorable. This program reflects our commitment to making sure you enjoy your stay now and every time you return in the future.

What are some examples of community projects and events?

Annual events such as Mystery in the Mountains in the spring, the Annual 4th of July Parade, and the long running Rubber Ducky Regatta over Labor Day weekend. Our Chamber helps to maintain walking trails and supporting community parks and signage. We’ve been active in helping the Lin-Wood Skate Park with their fundraising efforts, sharing information on the Riverfront Park project, as well as create a committee dedicated to arts and cultural enhancements to public places. Plus, we keep you informed of all that is happening in the Western White Mountains through our social media accounts, blog posts, trip ideas, and our website.

Am I required to pay this fee?

No, this fee is optional. However, we hope you to consider this small investment during your stay in the are to be a part of the enhancement of a community that you can call your home away from home. We have purposely kept the optional fee affordable and the participation broad so that everyone can benefit from its rewards.

Benefits of the Destination Marketing Fee?
Guests who opt to participate receive a Basecamp Card. This card offers special deals for local retail shops, spa services, and restaurants during their stay. Our goal is to connect you to our local businesses and ownwer who make this community so special. Please inquire at the front desk of your hotel.
