A Season Worth Discovering
Spring may be quieter—but that’s exactly what makes it special. It’s a time to slow down, explore at your own pace, and experience a different side of the Western White Mountains.
- Waterfalls at their best thanks to snowmelt
- Quieter trails and scenic drives
- Wildlife sightings as the forest comes back to life
- A peaceful, slower-paced experience of the mountains
A quick note for outdoor enthusiasts. Spring is also mud season, so be sure to:
- Stick to lower-elevation trails
- Wear proper footwear
- Follow local guidelines to help protect our trails
Plan Ahead for the Best Experience
A little planning goes a long way this time of year:
- ✔️ Check business hours before you visit
- ✔️ Make dining reservations when possible
